New site Feedback

Hi folks,

A few things stand out at me:

1. There is no /news/by-date/YYYYMM equivalent on the new WP site; this SEO 
will break.  You will need to setup a 301 to maintain order in Google's SEO-
land.
2. The /about-us page is gone.  If this is intended, that's cool; however, a 
301 redirect should also be put into place to the location of the equivalent 
new page so that SEO is maintained as Google migrates from the old URI to the 
new one.
3. The only configured slider image on the front-page as well as subsequent 
pages is rather slow to load on my 45Mbit/sec. connection.
