Ugh, as someone who worked on this, I'd recommend we do this as a stop
gap measure for this beta,
but we start looking at phonon vlc in case pgst doesn't perform well
in the beta and switch it out
with pvlc if things don't go well.

Yep, which requires patching QtWebkit, there's a patch on OBS
somewhere to do this ...
