Not me. I don't use Discover often, but I have not seen any freezes or other problems 
when I do. I love that it has the Plasma Widgets section - it is a lot nicer than the ghns. 

Apper has come along way since I last used it, but I do love Muon package manager. I 
have used it and  muon updater over apt almost exclusively for the past 2 releases with 
little if any issue. I may just be lucky.
