Bug in backports

I wanted to update to kde 4.12 because of some requirement  following this
steps:  http://www.noobslab.com/2014/01/install-kde-412-in-ubuntulinux.html

sudo add-apt-repository ppa:kubuntu-ppa/backports
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade

But as i did this: in ubuntu 12.04 Lts and then once more in kubuntu 13.10:
my akonadi crashes:
I googled and found the same bug reported: (i couldnt report my bug,some
net problem) http://osdir.com/ml/kdepim-bugs/2013-12/msg00635.html (akonadi
crashes when upgraded from 4.11 to 4.12)

My kmail/akonadi crashes as soon as I upgrade using kubuntu-backports.
Please fix the bug.
