It is indeed better looking than the old one, I can still see a few issues 
though:

-The content is hidden in an accordion, given that this is the most important 
page of the project (or one of them) this is no good.
-There is no explanation if you don't open the accordion
-It has technical jargon like " to create your own installation medium."
-Confusing wording like "Download Kubuntu DVD and USB stick images", this 
suggests me (and Vishesh+David who are native English speaker) that there are 
more than one option to download (DVD and USB).
-Still recommending 32bits, is this done in propose?
-The mirroring is confusing, this should be hidden some how behind the scenes

Also, since Kubuntu is getting money now from the donations, we might want to 
have something like:
