Problem with kate and secondary menus

I reported this bug: https://bugs.kde.org/show_bug.cgi?id=280236 and
received some feedback that no one else was seeing this problem.  I did some
further testing and it appears that on the machine I did an upgrade from
Natty to Oneric the problem of using the file and then q to quit or file and
then S to save only exists there.  On a fresh install it does not exist.

I seem to remember something along the same lines in a previous testing
cycle
