Problems/Issues w/ Kubuntu Netbook

sorry for top posting a bit of a pain for me right now.... in order to
logoff I launch krunner (alt+f2 and type logoff) and it kicks me back to the
command line.

thanks for the other esponses.  i am really enjoying this and getting a lot
of great feedback from people that see it
