Hi people,
The plugin Music for Amsn doesn't add the song information to the nick
when activated, if the player selected is audacious.
The problem is because of the tool called audtool2. The script that
manages the Music plugin for Audacious is located at:
/usr/share/amsn/plugins/music and its called infoaudacious.
When I ran the application as it comes installed with Karmic Koala
updated I got :
$ ./infoaudacious
./infoaudacious: 5: audtool: not found
./infoaudacious: 6: audtool: not found
./infoaudacious: 12: audtool: not found
0
Then, the problem is that nowadays audtool its called audtool2.
So, to fix the problem, all you need to do is :
# ln -s /usr/bin/audtool2 /usr/bin/audtool
Or modify the script. The script check the version, but it fails anyway.
With the symlink, this works perfectly.
Audacious version : 2.1.0
KUbuntu Version : Karmic Koala
Amsn version: 0.98
Best.
Juan
