I hope this doesn't come across as obtrusive in any way. If you don't
use LinkedIn, this message doesn't apply to you. Of course, I'd suggest
taking a peak into it.

I noticed a lack of a group in LinkedIn specifically for Ubuntu members.
I assumed I'm probably not the first person to want to join a group like
this. I created this exact group.

You can join this group by going to
http://www.linkedin.com/groups?gid=1867717.

If you do want to join, please use your @ubuntu.com email address for
the registration. If you do this, then I won't need to actually approve
you, it'll be automatic. If you don't use that email address, then you
can just send me a custom message from your LinkedIn account with a link
to your Launchpad profile so I can verify your membership status.

Again, I hope this wasn't obtrusive of intrusive in any way. I just
wanted to make this group known to those who either use or will use
LinkedIn.
