It's alpha in name only. Quite arbitrary. If the Konversation team wanted they 
could name it 1000.0 stable-sandcrab version. They basically want to get a 
configuration dialog redesign in to make the config dialog less konqueror-
esque and then a new ircview component to fix the marker line bug as well as 
reimplement bidi support that got lost in the port. It is quite, quite stable.
