That would involve deploying a customized .batrc(_path), which would mean I 
need to keep 3 of them up-to-date :P

I am not sure where to store it, since people.ubuntu is still not useable for 
mere mortals.. Maybe master Riddell could throw it up there?

Generally I agree though.
