getting rid of gtk2

Hi guys,

I was just trying to get rid of some useless stuff to make room on my
(very small) harddrive, and while trying to get rid of gtk2 I ran into
the (seemingly) last troublemaker: amarok. It (rightfully) depends on
libgpod for ipod support. But why does libgpod depend on a GUI
toolkit, being a library? I mean, ok, it uses glib, but I can handle
that. But why libgtk2.0? Anyone who knows how I can get rid of gtk2
without removing amarok?

tnx!
