Add Remove Programs

This questions are for the kubuntu-users list, no here. But I can help
you with the second question, you can edit it manually with:

sudo kate /etc/apt/sources.list

or more friendly, using Adept and then in "config repositories".

But after issueing  "sudo apt-get update" command in Konsole not as much programs are added to its list as are in Adept Manager. So I have to search for programs in Adept Manager which is difficult as programs are not categorised as in Add Remove Programs. Is there any solution?
