I don't that is this a known bug or not. Today I installed kubuntu 7.04 on
my new machine. After installation I went to User Management and entered the
Administrator mode, then I deleted the user Account which I created while
installation.
I also deleted the user group that was associated with that account. Then I
created a new account in the the user group "root". After this I rebooted
Kubuntu.
When the Login screen came I entered my new username and password and hit
enter. A message pop up and said me to change my password. It said some
thing like Root Forced change password. I changed my password and logined.
Then I opened Konsole and tried to execute this command #sudo apt-get update
When prompted to enter password I entered the password but it said wrong
password. I did it two or three times and it said so although my password
was right.
Then I exited Konsole and opened it again I again entered the same command
But from then it tart saying that "xxxxx not found in sudoer directory"
where xxxxx is my user name. I'm now unable to login as administrator in any
application like Konsole, Adept etc
