Well, beside the initial announcement, I didn't hear about it again. However 
I'd happily test it on Dapper, if possible.

Note that I tested (k)powersave once on a previous Dapper installation and 
found it really nice. I'd rather stay with the Ubuntu way of managing laptops 
but I'm getting tired of klaptop and I am currently considering changing to 
something else. So maybe it is the good time to give it a try :-)
