Please feel free to point me in the right direction if this isn't the right 
place to bring this up:

http://kubuntu.org/faq.php answers the question "How can I get help?" in part 
by pointing users to the Kubuntu Hoary forum, which is closed, and I guess 
replaced with the Kubuntu Breezy Forum (I don't see a Dapper one yet) at 
http://ubuntuforums.org/forumdisplay.php?f=99
