Are there any plans to use rosetta for Kubuntu specifics translation?

I looked at
https://launchpad.net/distros/ubuntu/breezy/+lang/lt
and found that there are only generic or Gnome programs that are
translated via rosetta for ubuntu.

If I found any KDE specific programs there, I would perhaps translate some.

I am translations coordinator for KDE lithuanian team and I would like
to participate to some degree in Kubuntu lithuanization.

There are some specific Kubuntu programs, that are not in the official
KDE releases (like amaroK, Kaffeine, even k3b) and that Kubuntu would
benefit from having translated.

However, I am not yet clear regarding the function of Rosetta as such
(why would it have translations of programs that are translated along
the default Gnome development, how the translations are shared back with
the default translations base, etc), so I am not sure about putting
Rosetta to work myself.

Would someone more knowledgeable about this take care to explain?
