[Bug 2062402] [NEW] kubuntu live lock screen renders session useless

Public bug reported:

While testing the Kubuntu Noble daily live environment my session
locked, though I never asked it to nor did I get the change to set any
preferences, and refused to unlock.

Supposedly the default password is empty, but entering an empty password
refuses to get it to unlock. I am forced to reset the VM.
