[Bug 1950135] [NEW] Missing session ending dialog in KDE Plasma Session under Wayland

Under Wayland, when I use any of the session ending icons in the
KDE/Plasma start menu nothing happens. The screen showing the 30s
timeout and the confirmation of the intended action doesn't come up.
However, the sesion is closed/ended/restarted or powered off after 30
seconds.

The upstream developer suspects this to be a packaging problem, hence my
report here.
