Thanks for filling out the FFe! It's really a bit late for such a big change, especially that it seems not only Kubuntu seeds Qt5 (seeded-in-ubuntu mentions also studio, mate, lubuntu etc.).
You mentioned rebuilds of packages that build-depend on qtbase and qtdeclarative private packages: after running reverse-depends, this looks to me like quite a big list. I don't see those packages in the bileto PPA linked - did you build those against the new release somewhere already?
