Public bug reported:
Plasma global menu does not show menus for GTK applications such as
LibreOffice, Gimp, Inkscape, Firefox, Thunderbird, etc.
Although I found and even reported this bug in particular projects, it
looks like they are unable to speak with each other, so I report this
also here.
How to reproduce?
1. Run any Ubuntu with KDE desktop with Plasma 5.9+
2. Enable the global menu in the system settings
3. Run any of the GTK based apps mentioned above (or any GTK app)
What happens?
Depends on the application, the menu is either not shown at all nor is
or is displayed in the applications window.
What is expected?
All applications should show their menus according the system settings.
Simply user don't care what framework/backend developer used to build
the app.
