I played a pally  tank up to Flex last expac.  It was all about the
rotation and maximizing your  haste  (after getting enough defensive
stats  to  survive)  so you could  maintain uptime on your shields
(Shield of  the Righteous). The rest was very  monotonous as far as
rotation goes.

I haven't played since then, so I don't know what WoD brings to  the
table for Pally Tanks now.
