[Bug 1687294] [NEW] parley crashes

Public bug reported:

1) Click "create a new collection"
2) In "Properties for Untitled" leave everything as default (the only available language is "American English" anyway), click on "OK"
3) In "Edit Languages" lave everything as default, then click on "OK"
==>The editor window opens, then directly parley crashes with the messages:
