software/releases.

Karmic Koala, where this issue was reported against is EOL now  a-n-d
it was using KDE-SC4, so the solution mentioned here is inappropiate for
your machine.

Coming back to your problem: Yes, this could have to do self-added
tabs...

but the Kubuntu-Team can only handle bugs, that are due to happen by
errors on packaging.

Any other errors need to be reported against the KDE-bugbase [1]

another option is to seek help within the community [2]
