What sort of disk are you trying to install to? According to your
syslog, you have a 4 gb kingston data taveler usb stick as /dev/sda, but
according to the partman log, /dev/sda is an unknown 57 gb drive, which
makes no sense. The install itself crashed due to a corrupt target
filesystem, which could make sense if you are trying to install it to a
usb flash drive ( which are notoriously unreliable ), and especially if
it is somehow broken and thinks that it is larger than it really is.
