[Bug 1532402] [NEW] unable to open apt to umload extra packages

Public bug reported:

On closing the alert field it has a screen that states apt has crashed and to report the bug using the method I have stated.
It's loading in BIOS compatibility mode coz my new Intel NUC uses BIOS. It's also loading a duel boot with Win7 Pro. All partitions exist coz Gparted did that for me.
