We can see no connection to the package kdeconnect from what you are
reporting. Neither it is of an quality in order to support  you getiing
annoyances fixed you are experiencing.

A proper bug-report needs (in short)) at least:
1. measures to consider what flavour of Ubuntu is in use.
2. reporting against the package in question
3. log-files attached
