I believe it has to do with me installing KDE and then having a video
card that is not supported by default drivers(GTX 1070) When installing
Ubuntu originally I had to use an old video card, install the new driver
for the 1070  and then reinstall the 1070.  I may have to do this again
to get KDE to work. I have also experienced this issue trying to get
Unity 8 working. It logs in but then loops back to the login screen.
