[Bug 1429483] [NEW] Kubuntu Vivid 1 Beta 15.04: Muon preferences are not saved

Public bug reported:

What I did:
1. Opened the muon preferences.
2. Selected "Show notifications for available updates"
3. Clicked  on "Ok"
4. Opened the muon preferences again.

Expected behaviour:
The option is still selected.

Observed behaviour:
The option is not selected.

When I select both options and reopen the dialog the second one ("Show
the number of available updates") is still selected but deactivated.

Always reproducible.
