[Bug 1416740] [NEW] Ktorrent is unable to save temp files on a hard disk shared for samba

Public bug reported:

I have a home network with some PC 's and Macs.
I would like to save the temporary data of ktorrent on a hard drive connected to my router, and shared by samba to resume my downloads from any computer.
When trying to change the location of the temporary folder of Ktorrent , I see that the program does not allow me to select that route.

The network hard drive is in NTFS format, and I have full permissions to
access, read and write.
