[Bug 1412678] [NEW] Screen edge functionality doesn't work properly

Public bug reported:

I have set 2 screen edges: one to show all windows, one to show the
desktop grid. This piece of functionality does not work really good, I
need to drag the mouse over the edges several times before it actually
works
