Public bug reported:

in the opening dialog:
File name:fish://root@localhost/etc/hosts
results in:
hosts
File not found.
Please verify the correct file name was given.

however on the command line:
robert at lappi:~$ kate fish://root@localhost/etc/hosts

works fine.

on a side note:
on ubuntu 14.x kate allowed to open a non existing file, which was created when it was saved the first time.
Now I get exactly the same "File not found" dialog.

maybe the two peculiarities have a common root (if not it would be nice
to reimplement this features)
