[Bug 1435061] Re: KDE 5 is corrupted, after updating Kubuntu

When logging into KDE5 (or XFCE4), I faced the same symptoms today.
Deleting everything in ~/.cache allowed me to log back in. The main KDE
panel had to be recreated.
