[Bug 1384690] [NEW] kubuntu-plasma5 hangs on reboot after install

Public bug reported:

kubuntu-plasma5 utopic images install fine.  on rebooting at the end of
the install it quits X and goes to either a command line or showing
Plymouth but it doesn't actually reboot.  Spooky.
