[Bug 1384692] [NEW] ksplash disappears before plasma shown in kubuntu-plasma5

loading a kubuntu-plasma5 desktop, live or installed, ksplash disappears
and shows a black screen before Plasma starts as normal.  ksplash should
stay displayed until Plasma is visible
