I was not aware that muon was part of the KDE Software Compilation: I thought is was rather something by Ubuntu/Debian.
Anyway, 1 year later and a version bump from 1.4.1-0ubuntu1 to 2.1.3-0ubuntu0 the bug is not there any more.
Of course, if you wait long enough all bugs will become invalid.
