Using KDE Development Platform 4.10.5

What should happen: when editing a file, then saving it, the file
permission should be kept, I am trying to save over sftp. Permission
before saving (-rw-rw-r--)

What is happening: the file permission is changed once saved. Permission
after saving (-rw-------)
