no! that's a very bad idea! I'm using ksnapshot quite a lot to capture desktop 
effects.

for general information: I'm going to work on ksnapshot starting tomorrow. It 
wants an XCB and Qt 5 port. Let's see whether I can also add a proper solution 
to this longstanding issue.
