[Bug 1178294] [NEW] Install fails with Kubuntu 13.04 on UEFI system

Public bug reported:

I installed kubuntu 13.04 on a computer with UEFI and it didn't set up Grub right so nothing would boot
then I installed ubuntu unity 13.04 and it also installed fine
then I installed Kubuntu again and it consistently failed to install with an error
