[Bug 1171951] Re: plasma-widget-networkmanagement doesn't show 3g/umts signal strength in tray

I can reproduce that error (see attached bug report). The problem does
not exist if I disable desktop effects. In this case I get the signal
strength indicator for the mobile broadband connection but the
characters below the indicator are barely readable.
