I'm not sure this is a duplicate of bug #1257760, so unmarking as such.

No change in the way Kubuntu desktop fails to appear when "Try Kubuntu"
is chosen. This bug seems similar to bug #1259525 that affects Xubuntu
and Lubuntu.
