I have a panel on the right side of the left screen.
Even if I set the panel "Always visible" it behaves as "Window do under".
See the image linked.
I would like to have this like 2 years ago, it is annoying and works in windows :)
(Gnome has the same problem eather)
Reproducible: Always
Steps to Reproduce:
1. create a vertical panel on dual monitor setup, in the middle
2. maximize a window
3. the window goes under the panel :( !
Actual Results:
the window goes under the panel :( !
Expected Results:
the window should be smaller, to not go under the panel.
The behavior of the bottom panel is correct, and this should be the same for the vertical panel.

Same problem here but with a bottom horizontal panel. Maximized windows
go under panel regardless of settings.

Solved my issue. The program kscreen was held back during the update to
KDE 4.11. Once I installed the current version (kscreen 1.0) and
rebooted the problem was corrected.
