Public bug reported:

Re arranging widgets on desktop when all the sudden I lost the side
panel on analog clock widget (the panel with settings / resize / reload
).  Continued to move it and desktop crashed / restarted.

..  I'm not sure what the state of bugs.kde.org is but the crash
assistant could not connect but I am including my system information as
well as crash report here.
