[Bug 1004917] [NEW] Default activity name in English, "New Activity", is confusing

You have been subscribed to a public bug:

The default plasma activity is called "New Activity".

This is confusing because it makes the "cashew" look like a button to be
used to create a new activity rather than a way of accessing options
related to the current activity (whatever it happens to be named).

The purpose and functions of Activities are left for the user to
discover by trial and error, and so they are not the easiest thing to
get to grips with in the first place. The "New Activity" name can only
make things worse, for example by implying that the menu items that pop
up from the cashew are for creating new activities, potentially leading
the user to believe that widgets and groups are both types of
"activity".

n.b.: I apologise that I was unable to find out what the proper name is
for the thing that I know only as the "cashew".
