Public bug reported:
Hello,
I'd like to use blowfish end-to-end encryption with the quassel irc
client shipped with Ubuntu 12.04 (that is 0.8.0). However, it seems
encryption support was not added at compilation time.
Using the "/setkey" command in the client gives me:
--
Error: Setting an encryption key requires Quassel to have been built with support for the Qt Cryptographic Architecture (QCA) library. Contact your distributor about a Quassel package with QCA support, or rebuild Quassel with QCA present.
--
More information about quassel & blowfish can be found here:
http://bugs.quassel-irc.org/projects/quassel-irc/wiki/Blowfish_Encryption_Manual
Could you please add blowfish support in a future package?
Kind regards,
Sascha
