[Bug 976397] Re: in Kubuntu 12.04, plasma-desktop does not start in the KDE session

After turning off rotation on the second monitor and clearing some junk
from the launcher menu, I still have to start plasma-desktop manually,
but the messages are reduced to the following:

$ plasma-desktop
