Thank you for using Ubuntu and reporting a bug. If you are going to have
both akonadi and mysql-server-5.1, you should update your mysql profile
in /etc/apparmor.d/local/usr.sbin.mysqld to have the rules that akonadi
needs (look at the akonadi policy for details). By using this file your
changes will be preserved on upgrades.
