I have to join in here...
I have a 5.1 surround system and need to have different volume levels for Front, Surround and Center. There seems to be no way of configuring this with KMix. Setting the different volumes with alsamixer works but as soon as you change the volume with KMix all settings are lost. Do KMix developers think that everybody only has stereo equipment?!
