OS: Linux (i686) release 2.6.0-gentoo

Perhaps an easy drag n drop interface or multiple select event -> move
/copy-to calendar? Copy/paste would not work well for many events.

Cheers

I think a right-click-menu entry like "Move to ..." with a submenu which lists the available calendars but the current would be good.
(And maybe a second entry with "Copy to ..."

If you are in the view where the calendars are shown in seperate coumns
side by side Drag'n'Drop would be nice. (just DnD = move, Ctrl-DnD =
copy)

Comments?

Good suggestions. I'd also like to point out, that implementing this
soon is more important than implementing it after two years.

Latest versions support multiple different backends and people are going
through transitions now and not having this feature available makes it
harder and time consuming. Not to mention akonadi testers/development.

Well, i guess you all already knew that. :)

You can now move events between calendars, yes. But you cannot move
events between Akonadi resources, e.g. std.ics and
akonadi_gcal_resource_0. At least not in 4.4.2 SC Debian.

Please re-open and re-title this bug.

Yes, please re-open. I can not move an appointment/event to a newly
added ICal file, and that would be very helpful. Please also consider
to make it possible to show the events of a calendar in a list, make
them multi-selectable (based on a regexp) and move several at once.

KOrganizer 4.9.3 (long after 4.4)
Can we have a vote again?

And delete several at once. It is so easy to add a bunch of events to a
calendar, but to delete or move them, you have to edit each one separate
- not very handy.

Easy way:
1. Copy
2. Paste

( If it doesn't work, go to settings and uncheck the option that says to
use the default calendar instead of asking )
