The issue is not solved in Digikam 2.1.1 ( Ubuntu 11.10) but its status
was changed to "resolved" by Erich Wurstbauer (erich-wurstbauer).

Does anyone knows if the problem is solved with Digikam 2.5.0 (coming in Ubuntu 12.04)?
Is a fix planned for Digikam 2.1?
